Children’s Illustrated Story Competition Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions
There will be two categories a) Key Stage 2 b) Key Stage 3
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed stories in each key stage
All stories and illustrations must be the child’s own original work
The story is to be written in English and the word count no more than 500 words, there is no lower word limit, with just one entry per child
Electronic files must be Microsoft word or Adobe PDF
The organising committee will take reasonable care of the hard copies of the stories, but cannot be held responsible for loss or damage
The judge’s decision will be final
By entering the competition, you give permission for the entry to be used for publicity purposes on Dawlish Against Plastic website etc
The story and illustrations will remain the intellectual property of the author
All personal data, including contact details, will not be used for any other purposes, and will be destroyed after the competition
All entries to include name, age, school and contact details with the permission of an adult to enter, see tear off slip below to accompany entries
Entries delivered to: Go Green Festival Story Competition, Dawlish Town Council The Manor House, Old Town Street, Dawlish, EX7 9AP or dawlishagainstplastic@gmail.com by 5pm on July 25th 2020
